In Kroo, NAHDEE’S means “my mum.” It is a name shaped by family, heritage, the women who came before us and the children who inspire what comes next.
From a busy mum’s kitchen to your family table
NAHDEE’S was born from the everyday reality of being a busy mum. Finding the time to cook can sometimes feel impossible, but I have always believed that my children deserve a healthy, tasty, home-cooked meal.
My children would proudly say, “My mum made this!” — and that is where NAHDEE’S comes from.
In Kroo, NAHDEE’S means “my mum.” The name is deeply personal to me. As a proud Sierra Leonean from the Kroo community in Freetown, NAHDEE’S is a tribute to my heritage, my great-grandmother, my grandmother, and all the strong matriarchs who have shaped and supported me.
The NAHDEE’S logo is a cartoon illustration of my children and me — a reminder of the love, laughter and the “Mum, can you make this?” moments that inspired the brand.
I thank God for allowing me to be their NAHDEE’S.

NAHDEE’S is also a tribute to my grandmother, who has supported me throughout my life. Creating gluten-free products is particularly important because I want her — and others with coeliac disease or wheat and gluten allergies — to be able to enjoy delicious food with confidence.
